I've just checked out all your hard work Mabel and Suz and I agree with everything you have discovered. The family certainly  seem to be confused about their place of birth and they seem to have moved around.

How about the marriage between William Wiggan and Ann Walker 5th October 1817 at Whittington, near Lichfield (Family Search)? and the burial of William Wiggan on 21st September 1829 at St. Chad, Lichfield (NBI)?

I think they seem very big possibles for your family.

I can't find Ann Wiggin after 1841 - maybe she remarried??

Although there is this death reg FreeBMD
Ann Wiggin
Mar qtr 1851
Lichfield
17 55

no age given at that time so not certain she is "your" Ann

Thanks Suz
I found the same reference and similarly after trawling through census reports came to the conclusion that it could be 'my' Ann.
I accept that I could prove many of these links by purchasing relevant certificates, but for this 'twig' on my tree I cannot justify the expense. However, I appreciate the help and have noted that they are only possibles (cross referencing does make some of them more like probables).

My husband is a direct descendant of William wiggin. His father and him have both done DNA analysis and the ethnicity is not showing and Irish ancestry. So I am inclined to agree with the above info as well.
