Ahh  Mary Ann Bagley and John Cunnington are the parents of my GG grandfather another John Cunnington b:1856 Birmingham. This is why I was looking for the marriage, which is nowhere to be found. So I am now trying to find William, this is where it gets tricky as I cannot go any further without confusion.

I have just spotted your census reference for 1851.  It does save us having to look up the details if you could post them in future please.

John Cunnington age 33 bn Bedford
Mary Ann age 29 bn Tipton
William 13 bn Bedford
Elizabeth 7 months bn Birmingham

It would not suprise me if William was son of John Cunnington and someone other than Mary Ann.    Off to look in 1841
