Hart Family
« on: Saturday 11 August 12 23:53 BST (UK) »
I have Lemon Hart as my husbands 6th great grandfather, so I am looking for any info on the family.  Abraham, Lazarus, Henry Lemon Michael.  Jewish history as this is the first time this end of the family knew of that particular side.  Immigration from Germany to England in the early 1700's.

Help with any info would be great!!!!

Thanks

There are several trees on Ancestry for this family, including a picture of Lemon Hart b1768.

Have you seen these?

Regards,
David

Hello, My name is Derek Hart,I have lived in Barnstaple Devon all of my life and have managed to trace my Hart family back to Hemyock in Devon.I have heard the elders in my family say that we are related to the Jewish Hart families that used to live in Cornwall and later moved to Plymouth and London from either Penzance or Falmouth.Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Derek Hart.

Hello Rosie99,
My great Grandfather was Henry Hart born 1847 in Hemyock Devon and died in Barnstaple Devon he married twice to Thirza Slee then to Betsy ? from Croyde near Barnstaple, his father was Francis Hart (widower) also born in Hemyock about 1802 -1806  both were builders/bricklayers and that's about all the information I have I'm afraid.
Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
