Village family

I have just discovered a new surname in my family  - Village.  This is Sarah Village born 1817 in Bham.  There were a lot of Villages in Bham at this time, certainly all related.  I have traced them back to Coventry in mid 1700s.  I have never heard of the name before  -  does anyone know them?

No I haven't heard of Village as a surname. Just did a search on Ancestry-
in England there are 39 in 1861, 26 in 1871,  52 in 1881,  78 in 1891 and 66 in 1901. So it is pretty uncommon.

Personally, I have never heard of Village used as a surname. If it's of interest to you, there are roughly 80 Villages (::)) at GenesReunited, many from Birmingham:
