Is there any other information on the Munnery family?  I am trying to trace the parents of Ellen, this family may be a connection.

Hi,
Following on from previous request lookup, have now found the christening for Ellen but she appears on  IGI as <Munnery>. Can someone please tell me what these brackets indicate? Ellen was born with the name Belvell.
Perhaps the Munnery family adopted her?
