We have some indirect links, since my GGGrandfather's brother Francis Armstrong married into the Jockhill Taylors. His wife was Helen (1800-1877), do James and Jennet.
I am aware the your Eleanor/Helen had 3 daughters, including Isabel, but also a couple more kids.
And that Isabel who married John Armstrong  Priorhill, Canonbie had 6 children, whose names you likely know. Could you fill in the blanks?

Thomas son of John Armstrong Priorhill and Isabel Little his spouse Born 16th April 1824 and Baptised 14th June 1829 - Don't know any more about him.
Robert Armstrong son of the above (John & Isabel) Born 22 June 1826 bapt same time. He emigrated to Canada then the US and died 5 May 1903 at Brockway, St Clair, Michigan. Married Euphemia Watson. Had 4 children. He claimed  his year of birth was either 1831/2 but as it was proved he was the son of John  Armstrong & Isabella Little of 'Canonby' then it must have been 1826.
Isabella Armstrong dht of above (John & Isabel) born 24th July 1828 bapt same day. _ Don't know what happened to Isabella.
John Armstrong Abt 1831 - Nothing else known.
Julia Armstrong Abt 1834 Died 18 Feb 1879 Married Robert Anderson - Canonbie
Hugh Armstrong Abt 1834 Died 2 July 1902 Speaker, Sanilac, Michigan, US. Unmarried.

The last 3 are in Census's with their parents but I can not find any Baptisms.

I know lots about Robert as he is my 2xGt Grandfather & quite a bit about Hugh as found he had emigrated too. Then Julia is well documented on different trees but I know nothing about Thomas b 1824, Isabella born 1828 or John c1831 after the 1841 Census.
 
If anyone knows any more about them I would love to hear.
