Phil, I am doing a bit more research on the Lamplugh/Lamplough family - two brothers Thomas and John lives at Brandesburton in the 1620s and 1630s. Are they mentioned at all on the Beverley register?

No John's only Jonathan,
25 June 1713, Johnathan Lamplugh Parish de Garton & Anna Maxwell.
08 May 1722 Ann wife of Jonathan Lampleigh of Emswell, Death.

No Christopher Lamplugh in either Beverley St Mary or Brandesburton there is only the following,05 August 1679 Ailes (Alicia) wife of George Lamplugh Burial.
07 November 1644 George Lamplughe & Alice Johnson, Marriage. and this which is under the same surname, but will be no earthly use to you probably, 03 Oct 1656 Josiah Lampley son to Mr Lampley.
