Many people have posted seeking translation of Memorial Inscriptions in the Welsh Language.Clwyd FHS have compiled a very useful page of the common terms used in many headstones and their translation;

I have just bought a book called "Tracing family history in Wales,   How to Read the Inscriptions on Welsh Gravestones" by Gwen Awbery. It is aimed at helping people to translate their own
Inscritions, I have found it interesting and think it will be useful.

The Clwyd link is excellent but is missing a translation that does occur on some headstones when a child dies very young.
mis = month
mis oed = months old
