32nd Cambridge Beer Festival Guide
« on: Thursday 26 May 05 16:10 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Funny how this family history thing grabs you sometimes... I've just paid a lunchtime visit to my local Cambridge Beer Festival, and faced by over a 100 brews decided to be guided by beers brewed in or near places of significance for my own family history research.  Suffolk, Essex, Cambs, Norfolk and Yorkshire figured heavily, and I've just crawled home with a contented feeling of a really good afternoon's research.
The secret, by the way, is to order half-pints so you can sample a wider range of beer - if you're going all macho with the pints, then I don't think you'd be having much fun trying to work out which letters on the keyboard go in which order in your post-session write-up.
Hang on, though, I'd better just run the spelling check over this little lot...
Cheers, everyone,
Keith
