"Gallaway", Stirling area, 1750's-'60's please

Dear Rootschat,
I have a reference to an "Alexander Gallaway"(sic - not "o") of "Borrow Meadow and Larkfield, Stirlingshire." Although there are a number of Alexander Gallaways, the correct one I'm hoping,  is the son of Alexander and Janet -? married 1751 in Stirling. Their children were all christened at St Ninian's - John 1752; William 1755; Jean 1757; Alexander 1759; James 1762. From what I can glean, these areas near Stirling would have been farmland at this time. Can anyone shed any more light on this family/period? There was also another Alexander Gallaway living in the area also having children - his wife appears to be Margaret Bachop (Bishop?)
Thanks for your time.
