Most of the local newspapers are on microfiche in the reference section of the Inverness library.

I have spent many happy hours in there.................
Researching the names Mckenzie / Mackenzie from Ross and Cromarty especially Scoraig and Rherivach.

The names Fraser, MacGillivary and Grant from Daviot & Dunlichity.

The name of Fraser from Lanarkshire.

The name of Bell from Northumberland.

The name Chilla / Chylla / Chyla from Poland.

There may also be a Sheriff Court Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI). Have a look at the index on the NAS/NRS website.

Hi Scot1
I came across this feed kind of late in the day by googling Contuchill in relation to Helen Fraser's death in 1933. I see the correct spelling is Contullich and not that as spelt above on the death cert.

I am researching on the behalf of relatives of Helen Munro on her first husband Roderick Macrae's side.
Any further information regarding this would be much appreciated.

Hi Ewen

Personal emails are not encouraged on RC to protect users from spamming etc...

The best way to communicate is using the Personal Message service (PMs). New members need a couple of posts on the main board before they can use the PM service.

You can post back here and then try to send a PM to scot1 again.
