just a foot-note here, Clonmel is in south Tipperary, where many Trials were held, Colligan which you mention is just outside the Coastal town of Dungarvan county Waterford, being some 28 miles south of Clonmel,

A memorial plaque will be placed at Karrakatta (Perth West Australia) cemetery  and a memorial service at the graveside of James Keilly onSunday 28 September 2014 at 11am

Aha i thought i remembered his name as my great grandfather Matthew O'Neill alias James Byrne of London was locked up with him.
Prisoner no 7277 James KEILEY convicted for complicity with Sgt McCarthy.
See N Y P L Mountjoy Photos easily found by googling'
note the spelling of his name.

Re James Keilley /Keily:  He was Conditionally Pardoned 12 Jun 1867,  ( when is a pardon not a pardon?) The  King also remited the remander of his sentence in 1905 See attached.
 James married Margaret Keane abt 1859 and a son Michael born abt 1860, and daughter
  born 23Nov 1865 at Infantry Barrack Clonmel. I hope this is of interest.
