Hi, wondering if anyone has any old photos of steel street in Liverpool before it was demolished or failing that where i might find any ??
Steel street was off athol street near the gasworks in the area of great Howard street. ( Docklands ).

Try Liverpool Record Office they have a large photographic collection.

It does make some harrowing reading.

I used to have a pint in The Athol Vaults and know that area well ...you may be lucky and find some photos on
