Maesganedd home
« on: Saturday 15 September 12 19:05 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I am trying to get some information on Maesgamedd home Llanfair.I believe it was a children's home but unsure of this.
I am specifically interested in two children who were listed living there on the 1911 census. George Frost, and John Frost, both from Liverpool.
If any records still existed, where could they be located,

Many thanks in advance

regards
liz

If you mean Llanfairpwll on anglesey - try MaesGarnedd instead of Maesganedd. There was a Plas Garnedd which was a farm  but I am not sure about a Maesgarnedd unless it was on the same estate.

Just discovered the anglesey county record office at Llangefni have records of Maesgarnedd home - 1932 - 1937 is mentioned - they have more information - good luck.

Hi,  I am also checking records for Maesgamedd home 1911 Census. Was your search at the records office, Llangefni successful?  Will it be worth a visit?
