Hi Thankyou again,  I need a bigger note pad  :D

Thankyou yes I would like to find as much as possible... Ada is a mystery to us we have no idea where or why she left the children, rumour has it she may have ended up in a hospital?  postnatal depression maybe?  now you have found that she died in Newton maybe i will find where she was all those years?

Theres more too.... but i was going to get to that another day,  "Nan"  Alice Ethel Alchin  Married  an Alfie Dunn in 1940? we think, He was killed in the 2nd world war..... i cannot find anything on Alfie Dunne or Dunn  they were only married a short time :-[  we would like to find out about Alfie too.

I think this is Ada's parents in 1891,a Charles and Mary A Plumb.RG12/2974/5/6.I think we are looking at the marriage of a Charles Plumb and a Mary A Watson at Burton-on-Trent Staffordshire in 1882.There is a death of a Charles Plumb in Liverpool (1859-1893).

.

If you purchase her death certificate that should give address where she died and name of informant -may help fill in some gaps???

Ada was a nurse in 1901 census -maybe she went to work at a hospital ??
