Drowning in the Menai Straits

There are two graves at Penmon Church which relate of the sad drownings of  Robert (38) and William Williams (23), sons of Robert and Ellen Williams, Ty Gwyn, Penmon and John Williams (33), Park Penmon, on the 29th December 1889.
Does anyone have details of this tragedy please?
Thanks

It is likely that this is a tragic drowning that happened in Beaumaris Bay.  A boat was found washed ashore at Lleiniog Castle, it belonged to Penmon and had been engaged by 4 men to go to Beaumaris. The occupants were John Hughes, who left a widow and 9 children, John Williams, who left a widow and 10 children,  and two other unmarried brothers from Penmon.
