Jacklin Lincolnshire
« on: Sunday 23 September 12 14:33 BST (UK) »
Hi......I would like some help please with the name of JACKLIN from Lincolnshire around 1800 Married to a Mary GREEN  Burton Upon Stather in 1831. I believe he may have gone by the name of Robert Cawthorpe Jacklin. he may have also came from Somercoates Lincolnshire.

Any help with this family would very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Tinkerbell :-)

There seems to be several Robert JACKLINs around at that time.  I can't find any with a Cawthorpe name.  Have you any idea when Robert was born ?

One possibility - maybe not the right man - is in 1841 North Somercotes.
Piece number 644 , folio 13/17, page 17

Robert Jacklin   60  b 1781
Mary      -do-     45   b 1796
Rebecca            15   b 1826
Thomas             12   b 1829
Caroline            11   b 1830
Edward             10   b 1831
Charles               5   b 1836

All born in County.

Sorry not to be more helpful.

NC.

Hi Tinkerbell

Sorry to jump this thread but your email in your profile doesn't work. I responded to an aged thread of yours on the family of Frederick Cumming Ward and I'd love to know a little more as I believe it ties to my own family tree, and explains why I have drawn a blank.  I'd love to know how you are aware of the Dr bringing his illegitimate child from Scotland and handing it over to Dr Nathaniel Ward. Any info will be much appreciated.
