The Blackwell's made bores and wells up in the Winton, Bundaberg Queensland areas.  That's as much info we have in regards to the Blackwells in Queensland.  I have tried searching for any records in regards to their work to give us a few clues, but haven't been successful

His WWII service record held at the NAA has not been digitised.  As you can confirm he is no longer living,   you could request the records be digitised.

ANYONE can purchase a death certificate in Victoria 10 years after the event and no identification is required.

Alternatively you could purchase Dorothy Jean's 1984 death certificate. Can be purchased online $20, and immediately downloaded.

It would note the year she was married and if it was over 60 years old and she was married in Victoria you could also purchase that.  Marriage certificates are restricted for 60 years in Victoria.

thanks again for the info.  Yes if I get Dorothy's death cert if should have the marriage info.  I am suspecting they may have married in Queensland and probably not within the date range of information they have realised publicly.  I am also relying on my partner's memory, I think I typed Kelly as her surname, we got a bit mixed up with Grandparent info.  My partner does not know much about this side of the family, as you can probably guess from the info I have relayed to you.
