I don't think it's Sylvia Sims,her eyes are very bright and sparkly,this lady had sadder eyes.Looks like a great thinker

She certainly looks familiar - but none of the names suggested so far sound right - the face says actress to me rather than singer, but who knows. Perhaps "starlet" is right - it also occurs to me she looks "European" in an Audrey Hepburn way, rather than English
