Help needed desperately

Looking for anything on the following:

Sydney James Kilford b.May 2nd 1903 Salisbury, Wilts

Who were his parents??? This info is needed desperately.

His brother was Stanley A b. possibly Southampton. Lived there and was a postman.

Stanley A Kilford died Hants Southampton 1964 2nd quarter aged 55 (So would have been born c1909).

Possible sister Agnes?

Know that Sidney/Sydney James married Ethel M Maidment in Chippenham, Wilts 1933.

Best way is to apply to Salisbury for his birth cert. This will give parent's names and then you can start tracking them on the census

I considered that, but i was hoping that was a last resort as i don't have money to spend on certificates as i am only a student.

Can't see any other way. It will cost £7 - depends how desperate desperate is Unless, of course you know of any children born prior to 1901 and then we can look on the census.
