Some amazing information there Radcliff - more than I ever thought I could get

"written in margin" - this seems very strange. Would that practice have been commonplace?

The names of the parents - sounds like the latin translation perhaps?

The gap between 1890 and 1902 - it would probably be likely that Patrick and Anna would have had more children in that time. This Henricus (probably Henry?) is a great clue. I may order the birth certificate for him also.

Thanks,

David

Could it be a badly written St Augustine?!

Can't see any other RC churches that come close?

See: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Liverpool/ and the Church Records for a list of churches.

Radcliff - I've been told my an older family member that the Aunt's names were Mrs Coffey & Mrs O'Connor - not much help I know.

So, Annie Casey had 2 sisters, from Newcastle West, County Limerick, Ireland. In 1926, when Annie died, and they took Catherine and Annie Junior back to Ireland to live with them - they would have both been married, as their maiden names would have been Casey.

I will try to find out their first names, it's possible someone in the family knows.

Also, I wonder if there are obituaries in Liverpool newspapers for Annie's death? Or even Thomas Jr.?

Thanks,

David
