I am looking for the birth of Peter G Taylor, born 1927-28 Vancouver, parents Peter Taylor and Agnes Morrison.   Also, Shirley McEachran, born 1933/34 Vancouver, parents James McEachran and Marion Madge Campbell.

Peter G.'s birth date is too recent to show in public records.

There is a tree on *A* that shows the marriage of his parents (& a pic of father Peter's parents), but no mention of Peter G.

You might find a birth announcement for Peter G. in a Vancouver newspaper. You could try asking for a look-up at Ask a Librarian at the Vancouver Public Library.

Shirley's birth is going to be too recent too, so perhaps check the birth notices in the newspaper.

There are two trees on *A* that have a record for James Greenlees Mceachran. One has a child marked "Private". That is likely your Shirley. Perhaps you could contact the owner of that tree. If you don't have an *A* membership you can likely access the info at your local library.

If the *A* tree is correct, it appears that Shirley's mother Marion was 23 years younger than Shirley's father. That means she is likely to have passed away in the more recent past (I can't find her on Family Search) so you may be able to find an obit in a Vancouver paper.

Thank you RedMystic, I already had the information you have given.  Both Peter Taylor and Marion McEachran returned to Scotland.  I'll follow the leads you have suggested to see if anything comes up.
