Do you know Patrick's fathers name.. I can maybe check some military records for you

Going by naming conventions of children and this is all l have at the moment !!!

Name of Patrick`s father could be John
Name of Patrcik`s mother could be Ada or Alice (as these are frequent in a few generations of Patrick and Jane`s descendants) or Catherine

Patrick could have had elder brothers called James or Frederick 

Patrick by all records was born in Dublin the city (not the county) in 1813

More possible info. on this chap.

Year of birth around 1813 - 1815

Place of birth Dublin city

Parents:

Father: Patrick Barnes (Solider)

Mother: !!!!!! O`Donnell

They were married in April 1805 in Dublin city.

He lived on Church Street and she lived on North King Street Dublin 

Any help there in clarifying it or to add to it !!!
