1881 Census  RG11/1789 Folio 99 Page 5
Buckleys Farm, Great Tey, Essex

Gardner Bickmore, age 40, b. Kelvedon
Fanny Bickmore, age 36, b. Aldham

Marriage Q1 1877, Greenwich   Vol 1d  Page 815

BICKMORE, Gardner
PETTITT, Fanny

1861 Census has Gardner Bickmore, age 22, b. Kelvedon, at Flories Farm, Great Tey
and Fanny Pettitt, age 16, b. Aldham, with parents John & Elizabeth and long list of siblings, at Tey Brook Farm, Great Tey.
RG9/1104 Folio 81 Page 5

All very clear, farming neighbours get married.

BUT      1871 Census  RG10/1692  Folio 94
Tey Brook Farm, Great Tey

Same Pettitt family as 1861
with Fanny WEST, dau, mar, age 25, Colonels Wife, b. Aldham

Question:

If this is same Fanny Pettitt, and she was later widowed and married Gardner Bickmore,
should she not be married as Fanny WEST?

Can't find Fanny PETTIT marrying Colonel WEST.

Suggestions Please.
