To search for a church record of an early marriage like this you would usually require a bit more detail, such as the denomination of these families, and where in Co. Waterford they lived : i.e. the town, townland or parish...

see : Introduction to Irish Records
My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?

Hi

I have a lot of information on the Warren families in Ireland and may be able to help if you can provide a little more information.

Do you know that this couple definitely married in Waterford?
What religion were they?
Did they have children and do you have names?

Regards

Hi

Yes, I'm aware of this family and have a note that William and Eleanor Jeakle married in Enniscorthy, Wexford 1795.  They had at least 7 children, James being born c.1814.  As his siblings - born either side of James - were all registered in Enniscorthy, Wexford, its likely that James was born there too, rather than Waterford.

I know of the Waterford connection and that James etc. moved to Australia in 1852, following in the footsteps of his father William....

Cheers

Hi,
My Great Grandfather was Joseph Warren born in 1841 in Wexford; I live in Queensland in Australia which is where he and his brother James migrated in the 1860s, and they were a successful building team and started an ironmongery in Roma QLD. Joseph married Elizabeth Sydes and they had ten children (including my grandfather James.) and lived in Roma until 1913(?). He died in 1919.
I am keen to find out any information about the ancestry and can perhaps help with some information from this end.

Hi

While there were Warrens in Waterford around that time, you mention your great Grandfather came from Wexford.  Do you know which area in Wexford?

Kind regards
