Seeking information on the ancestors of Cornelius Linneen born 1827 in Clare. He is my GGF. He married Margaret Mary O'Leary (Lary, Leary) in 1854 also in Clare. Shortly after marriage he emigrated out here to Australia and settled in Lancefield, Victoria.
Any information on his ancestors and family members would be most welcome.

HI,

I notice that there is a crowd of 'Linneens' living around Kilfarboy, Co Clare, mid 1800's.

I have just ordered the microfilm for that area for my own research. If you wish, when the microfilm arrives at my nearset LDS centre, here in France, I can make a point of checking for any info re 'Linneens'. It may take a couple of weeks.

The microfilm covers Births/Marriages over the period of 1839ish-1880ish.

Regards,

Mark.

Hi Mark

Thank you for your response. If any information comes to hand that would be great.
I will be away for about a week on my return I will forward you a list of the family members of Cornelius of which I am aware of, and any relevant details that I have.

Cheers
Brian

Thank you Mark for your message.
Unfortunately I have not accessed my email messages this week until this morning (Friday), so I missed the boat in providing the relevant information in time, but if in your research you are able to discover any items that may be relevant I would be very happy to hear from you.
Regards
Brian
