I think both men have beards Deb, both have guns, the man on the left has something in his left hand, possibly another gun. What is the 'thingy' above the photos? looks like a model spinning wheel.

Bill.

I've been pondering on that Bill, quite an assortment of objects on and around that table. He also has a nice collection of ceramics or has just had a cup of tea and a bun.   ;)

OH My ...LOL ... another thingy  ;D

I was seeing a double line coming from the ceiling ...connecting with the spinning wheel/compassy thingy...and then dropping down to thingy#1 ..but what if it's not attached to thingy 1 under the table? hummmmmmmmmm  :-\ :-X

re: the men : Looks like standing man has gun 'opened' over his arm ... need to relook ...

I don't think I will ever get to know who the photo people are ... at first I thought the man by himself was James ...maybe not?

Is the 'spinning wheel" part of something holding up the frame with 4 photos?

Having another look it seems not ...It's hanging away from the photo ...possibly a shadow of the 'line' that it's suspended from.

I think the line is a scratch on the photograph, when enlarged it appears to go all the way down to the bottom of the photo, the whole photo has lots of small scratches when enlarged.

Hi Deb

I think it's a miniature spinning wheel similar to the one attached used for doll houses.  I also think it's been placed on top of the picture frame box  as opposed to being suspended from the ceiling and the lines are the result of the photo being compressed.

What you need to do is scan the pic at 300 or 600 dpi and email to someone with photoshop so they can enlarge it and possibly make out more detail.  This pic is too compressed to enlarge successfully.

The chaps also look like they have been posed with guns, the one seated looks like he could be wearing a David Crockett hat but again that appearance could be caused by the compression.

Deb! How ya doing? Washed away yet?? :o

Do you have the original of the photo?

If you do, put it back in the scanner and draw a box around the quadruple picture on the wall, and scan just that box at maybe 600dpi, something fairly hi-res.

Then do another box around the thingy on the floor and make a hi-res scan. Any area within the photo you want a closer look at, do the same thing.

Then post each photo in a new thread. That way you can get around the size limitations here.

Cheers,

Agree it is a spinning wheel  - think the thingy on the floor is a basket/box for something - with a raised back on it!

The line is a crease in the photo definitely!

Hope you can do what China says - that would be fun to see the bits in extra detail!!!
