Hi Everyone

I am hoping you’ll be able to help me.

James my 3 x half cousin 4 times removed is the subject of this photo. It was taken in 1894 when he was 30 years old. He is the son of his father’s 2nd wife…his father being 70 when he was born!

There are photos in the background that I am hoping will reveal further info. The one to the right, of the two men, look like they could be James and his father… The man standing looks like he may have a beard or is that actually part of his collar? Are they holding shotguns?

I am hoping someone can date the other photos …. Maybe the dresses/clothes can give me a timeline.

I have tried to crop and enlarge the background photos but everything becomes fuzzy.

I know you guys are fab at what you do ...so here I am waiting for you to do your magic!!!!

Not too big if RC allows you to post.

Here are the smaller photos - but once you go bigger than this it just blurs, so . . . . . . $:-\$ $:-\$

Can't help - some of the experts might be able to give you something - not much to go on is there.

Love the halo around the cellists head!

Thanks ...I had the same thing happen ... unfortunately I don't have the original or else I may have used a magnifying glass

Hopefully someone with better eyes can help ...the photo of the older lady, to the right, with the 3 children looks like it comes from a different time period ... maybe the clothing will help date it.

as per PM. Not a full restore - just trying my hand at building a cello - never done that before!

Did you add colour to the thingy under the table? I see a blue-ish colour...or is it just me?
