Complete with Thx Thomas Burnett
« on: Wednesday 31 October 12 21:07 GMT (UK) »
I can see a Thomas Burnett baptised to a Thomas and Elizabeth around the 1760's. Can anyone tell me when exactly, fathers occupation and church please. Thomas Jnr went on to be a (master) mariner when baptising his children. Have been sent the details of a Richard and Mary doing the same thing (baptising a Thomas) and while they fit in every detail (time, location(Tower Hamlets)  and occupation(Mariner), neither name crops up in the next generation.
Thomas was of age when he married in 1784 and died in 1808

Thanks Keyboard86. Makes him a possible (unfortunately) as the sons of Coopers could go to sea after all. The spousal line was soaked in brine for close to 80 years that Ive been able to track so far.
