A restore would be fabulous!
« on: Friday 02 November 12 21:46 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I hope this is allowed …please let me know.

The following couple have been the subject of a different topic today.
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,622311.0.html

I have started a new topic as I am hoping someone can restore this to it’s former uncrinkled/unwrinkled state.  :D

I appreciate all of your time and effort.

Thanks

Deb  :)

Hi Deb, I read the other thread   ;D

Do you know if they were teachers or worked in some kind of institution? Maybe part of a uniform. He doesn't seem to mind but the lady looks like she is in a mood...

Love too go made with colour but i think its either brown or dark grey.

I did have a play but the scan is heavily pixilated and colour only works well on a good scan  :(
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

Hi jc

In 1851 he was a medical chemist and by 1861 a surgeon .. I have no idea why they would have dressed in the same material pattern ... :-\ ::)

what kind of scan would be a good one to add some colour?

Thanks for taking an interest :)
