Hi there, I am looking for Stanley family members. I have a Patrick Stanley born 1936  Avondale House, dies 1984 St Laurence's Hospital.
I know your researching earlier times but my Stanley may belong to your Stanley.

My Stanley family left Ireland in 1870 for Australia so don't know if any other members were related to yours. In fact they were baptised SHAW but adopted the surname STANLEY.

Hello Murrell. What a surprise to see someone looking for Stanleys as well. :)  Sorry for the delay in replying.

I do not know if your Stanleys are related as I haven't got that far.  Just observing a Patrick, name not familiar.  How far back have you gone?  Does John Bacon Stanley,  Edward Bacon Stanley, Sir Edward Stanley, Henry V. Stanley, George Adamson Stanley or any Roberts of Westmeath sound at all familiar to you.

Spouses - Wilson, Norris, Bacon, Vincent, Douglas or Adamson sound familiar?

Thank you for a response.

Hello Stephanie.  Yes I do remember our conversation.  I did email you but it was deleted & advised to send a "personal message". ???

I would be very interested in the John Bacon Stanley family & who went to Australia & also who was the Shaw who adopted the name Stanley.  One of John Bacon Stanley's sons was Henry V Stanley.   John Bacon's brother (as you probably know) was Sir Edward who was my gggg grandfather.

I would really appreciate learning more about this family.

p.s.  I had looked & looked to send you a "personal message" but could not find it. Where is this P.M. ???  Anxiously looking forward to your reply.

Marilyn

;) Hi Marilyn (Maystan)  The Stanley of Dublin I'm looking for married a relative of mine in Dublin in 1960's. I have no other details for him only that he was born 1936 Avondale House Dublin, and that his parents were Thomas Stanley & Annie Higgins. Thanks for your interest.
