On FreeBMD there is a possible death registration for a Mary Eagle - Q1 1838, Leicester v15 pg74.

We need someone with access to burial records to check if there are any clues that match her to Jonathan the wool comber.

Thank you for finding the death info, it looks quite promising that is is the right Mary. 
Maybe someone will come along with confirmation that she is the wife of Jonathan.  Here's hoping.

I did find Mary Eagle's death in the GRO for 1838 so that ties in very nicely.

How many Jonathan Eagles across the generations I wonder.

I have a freeby disc from a magazine that has transcribed baptisms @ St. Margaret's 1813-1878.

There is a Katherine Eagle shown on the disc, baptised 11th April 1823, BUT, parents are given as Jonathan & Mary??

I was searching for my ancestors, Eliza Eagle born 1818 in Market Harborough Leicestershire, who married Job Stafford (born 1822, Shearsby Leicestershire; died 8th January 1900) on 11th May 1845 in Leicestershire; she died 14th April 1870 in Aston. Eliza's parents were Mary Paine and Jonathan Eagle.

Does your disc show anything about Eliza Eagle?

For Leicestershire the disc only contains Baptisms @ St. Margaret's in Leicester, nothing at all for the wider Leicestershire, so unsurprisingly there is no mention of Eliza Eagle born in Market Harborough :-(
