im looking for information on what happened to Arnoldo Augusto Francisco deatz Villea
he was born in 1911 in Cobán, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala he married Dorothea Elisabeth Heaton nee Jackson in  Guatemala city in 1942 and divorced in 1954 in Dade, Florida. He then divorced again in 1968 in Charlotte, Florida. Can anyone please find out who he married and what happened to him after 1968?

Sorry, I've not been able to find anything yet.  But in case it helps others researching, it appears that the spelling is Daetz and Villea could actually be Villela.

I tried internet searches for your person.  One result:  could he have been a consul general in Hamburg in 1962?

Would it have been possible for his 2nd wife to have filed for the divorce in 1968 (in Florida) if he was living in another country?  Perhaps he didn't return to the U.S. after 1962?

Arnoldo Augusto Francisco Daetz Y Villela was my father. He divorced my mother in 1968, married and divorced again and died in Hamburg, Germany in November of 1986. I'd like to know more about his life before he married my mother, and I'd be glad to share any information that I can. By the way, my sister's middle name is Dorothea...We share both parents.
