Thanks for the information. I have the information on the ship they came over on . What I am looking for now are leads that will take me to who the Honan's were in Ireland and hoping to find information on their Parentage. Irish records northern and southern (I am also researching northern Irish History as well)seem to be very hard to find. Hereford.

have you written to any of the Local Papers in Waterford.  The family must be famous all for the wrong reasons. I bet the family is stilled talked about now.

have you look on the census list might give you a clue to were they lived.  look under waterford,  You might have relatives still living in Waterford.
