Hi, Can anyone identify this uniform for me, is it WW1 or 2 and what regiment would it be

It's WW1 but we need a bigger, clearer scan of the hat to tell what the regt is.

Hi thanks for getting back, it is a really old photo, my cousin has blown up the badge, but I don't think you will get much from it, it was a case between two soldiers, and I wondered do you think it could be the cap of King's Royal Rifles 1st Battalion?

The cap badge is that of a Rifle regiment but whether it is that of the 1st battalion of the King's I couldn't say.

Good evening,

The only KRRC badge with scroll under that I can find is for the ranger KKRRC corps which was WW2. Can't find any reference for WW1 but will keep searching.

Hi, it does look like the Sherwood Forester's badge, (a Maltese type cross with a scroll underneath) ?,though it is a bit out of focus.
