16 Abbot Street, Birkenhead 1911

My great-grandfather Cornelius Jackson was born in Glasgow but lived at 16 Abbot Street, Birkenhead during the 1911 census.  I am trying to find that street but it doesn't show on modern maps.  Can anyone tell me where Abbot Street is or was?
