I have not found any trace of John Henry in 1911.

I see that I was misled by Edith Violet being listed as Violet E in her grandparents' household in 1911.

Yes, I wondered about Mrs Gulliver-Cradwick but got sidetracked and haven't followed her up fully yet.

I thought there must have been a separation because JHC's second marriage was so soon after his wife's death. The 1923 and 1926 ERs seem to confirm it.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thanks. Yes, I found that a couple of hours ago and thought it was probably her.

I've made some progress with Mary Elizabeth's descendants, who are not numerous. One son, one granddaughter and two great-grandsons seems to be the lot.

Still nothing on Alfred after he left the Holloway Sanatorium, however. I think he must have emigrated.
