Looks like these could be Hannah's sisters:
Betty Higginbotham born 22 August 1807
Mary Higginbotham 25th Nov 1808
Sarah Higginbotham 5th October 1811
They were all christened at Denton, St Lawrence.

There are more Higginbothams on familysearch but they seem to be christened at Denton, Christ Church so might not be the same family.

This might answer your question?!

Eliza born 27th June 1827 christened 12th August 1827

 :) Plus as you quite rightly noted Rebecca was Mother in Law to somebody in 1861!

such big age gaps between siblings in the olden days 17 years difference between Hannah and Eliza Hannah is old enough to be elizas mum unless perhaps she secretly is maybey that's why as U pointed out keyboard that no father mentioned for Eliza

Hi again, why pick on Hannah their were other sisters just as capable, but the baptism was Father John Mother Rebecca? When the marriage was transcribed they may have just missed John's name off, a view of the actual marriage record, would answer that?

hiya i thought hannah because she s the oldest and she was the one who married henry brookshaw who had henry my gg granfather .i was just trying to track down her husband henrys birth record ,it says frm the info u gave me  :) that his birth place is ashton .do you know if ashton is the same place as ashton under lyne or are they seperate ,i only ask because i found a birth for a henry brookshaw in 1810 ashton under lyne and the mother is millicent

Henry Bruckshaw was born on 27th December 1809 and christened on 1st July 1810. the Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels Ashton under Lyne.
