Dinneen/Moynihan marriage 1867
« on: Wednesday 28 November 12 13:45 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for a bit of advice on the following marriage...

06/02/1867 John Dinneen and Mary Moynihan. Ballynird, Castlegregory.

This is a second marriage for both John and Mary and Mary's father is noted as John Johnson.  Does that mean that Moynihan was her first husband's name and Johnson was her maiden name?

It may seem obvious  but I just want to check as the only other second marriages I have seen usually have the maiden name first.

Thanks in advance :)
MACDONALD:- Glasgow and Ireland possibly Ballymena
McCORMACK - Glasgow and Ireland
DINNEEN -     Glasgow, London, Ramsgate, Suffolk, Co Kerry, Co Cork
NELSON and McLEAN - Ballymena Antrim

There is a marriage for a Mary Johnson to John Mynahan 3rd Feb 1856. Address Ballyduff Co Kerry.
Witnesses: Thomas Mynahan * John Irwin.

Perhaps this is the first marriage for Mary Johnson.
