We Lived in a Caravan in Essex in The Early 1950s We were Classed as Gypsies as we moved From One Piece Of Land and then Told to Move On Then My Mother and Father Moved on To a Plot Of Land in Thorpe-Le-Soken in Essex and Ran a Small Holding For The Local Butcher (A Small Pig Unit) We Used To Have a Lot of The Gypsies Familys Come And Park Their Trailers (Caravans) for a Few Days and Then Move On In The Village I Was Always Called The Gypo Boy And always The Parents Told The Children Not To Play With Me (But Thats Life) But I Enjoyed My Life In a Caravan
