I am researching this person who was a decorative artist in Ballarat in the late 1850s and left for NZ at the end of 1863. He may have returned to Australia in early 1870s. Any information is welcome. I have consulted Prof Google and usual sources of information - anyone out there related to him???

I am researching this person who was a decorative artist in Ballarat in the late 1850s and left for NZ at the end of 1863. He lived and worked in Christchurch from 1863 to 1870ish. He may have returned to Australia in early 1870s. Any information is welcome. I have consulted Prof Google and usual sources of information - anyone out there related to him???

I can't find any ST QUENTIN's in the new Zealand White Pages.

There are over a hundred references to him on Papers Past http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/ between 1865 and 1870. One advertisement in The Press describes him as an architect.
Search term; 'j c st quentin', but try other terms.
