No I didn't, thank you.  No information about any of them in NZ. Only known to have had 2 children here - John and Sarah (Ellen)

So we have :

Charles William  born in Norwich 1836
John Alfred Ernest  born in Norwich 1848
Sarah Pricilla, Ellen  born in Norwich 1850
Frances Jane born Victoria 1855; died 3 months
Victor Frederick 1856
Mary Victoria and Emma Susannah 1858

What happened to Charles, Victor and the twins? 12 year gap between Charles and John is interesting.

A possibility for his return trip Australia.

http://prov.vic.gov.au/index_search?searchid=23

ST QUENTIN —- MR Aged  46 MAR 1870. Per CLAUD HAMILTON N 103 002

(N= Departed from NZ)

The age is not quite right, but there are often errors.

Sue

Hmm he'd have actually been 52 - might have wanted to turn the clock back.

Was that record just for him?

I found :

Mrs Miss and Master St Quentin left for Newcastle on the Australind Saloon but stupidly didn't note the date. Will have to retrace my steps on that one.

1874 Aug 29 Mr and Mrs St Quentin left on the Albion - This might be the son John and wife because he went bankrupt in 1874 and left for Aust.

5th August 1861 the Victorian Lands & Suvey Office gazetted a list of Title Deeds that could be received once paid for at the required Pay Office.

Listed under file 252 was St Quentin. J. C., for 20 p at Ballaarat once the deeds were paid for at the Ballaarat Office.

20 = 20 perches.
