I have been doing some research lately and have become stuck. i am looking for the parents of Martha Crosby/Crosbie, born march 1864 in Chester, Cheshire. Her husbands name was Thomas Jay and they had a daughter called Dora Eveline Jay born 17th Feb 1897.

Sorry i don't have any more details, help would be greatly appreciated.

The marriage took place on the 19th September 1881 at St Mary's on the Hill, Chester.

Her baptism was:-

Martha Crosbie 26th July 1863 St Mary's Chester Parents Samuel and Martha

Marriage looks to be Samuel Crosbie Father William to Martha Dod Father William 20th July 1846 St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire

In 1841 Martha Dod aged 20 is with an Anne Dod 60 and Mary Dod aged 3 in Eccleston, Great Boughton, Cheshire Census Ref HO107/90/ 12/8 / 8

In 1841 Samuel aged 15 is with William aged 50 Martha aged 50 and an Elizabeth aged 10 in Handbridge, St Mary on the Hill, Cheshire Census Ref HO107/129/ 20/13 / 20
