'51 Census L/up Gateshead Co Durham

Hi All,

After learning that my family of interest may have moved from Tanfield to Gateshead for a while, I redirect a request I made last week.

Looking for FENWICK, Michael born Lanchester aged about 46 years, coal miner and/ or Hannah/Ann aged about 42 years.

With  them would be sons George aged about 17 years and Michael aged about 15 years.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Laurina,

Thanks for taking to time to do this look up for me.
The family you have found is {I'm 90% sure} a cousin to the Michael I was looking for.

I have since learned that Michael & his wife Hannah both died between 1841 & 1851.
In the 1851 census their two surviving sons are being looked after by the 83 year old grandmother at their place in Lanchester.
