Curioser and curioser,

For your information Dad's Dad and Dad's Dads Dad were bootmakers.  I believe my Great Grandfather made orthopeadic boots for a large London hospital, but as with nearly everything else about my branch of the OAKES clan , could be just another rumour ! ! !
