Hi Tulip Tinks

Welcome to Rootschat and I love that name!

For us to help you, we need to know as much as possible - like what time period are we looking it, any idea where in Staffordshire, do you know if he was married or single - have you found him at all in the census returns, etc.

e.g - There are 66 people with the name Thomas Mountford in the 1891 census on line

The more you tell us, the better the chance of finding him

Thanks for liking my name!!!

I have only the following information:

Thomas Mountford was married to Nellie Heath and they had 4 children; Samuel Mountford (my grandfather), Norman Mountford, Ruth Mountford & William Mountford.  This was all around Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire although my grandfather moved down to Southampton, Hampshire with his wife Nellie Dutton.  My dad was born in 1940 so working back from that it could be around 1900 (?)

Thanks.
I am sorry my emails are no longer working.
