Radcliff - that is the right James and that's what I have.

Heather - I just found that birth for Thomas also.  why would she use Bentley?

Going back to the question of Helena/Eleanor/Lena.
If someone asked you for your child's name and you replied in your broadest Burnley accent 'Eleanor', what would they think that you had said? What would they write down?

Heather - since i live in PA in the US, I have no idea!! But I'll take it from you that it might sound similiar! In my 'accent' they really don't sound much alike. I pronounce Helena HaLAYna. That was my grammy's name and that is how she said it. But she was French Canadian....
