I'm glad it wasn't just me then - by the way I notice topics I have contributed to or started are no longer flagged in pale yellow as before - is this a change in policy or just another little bug?

Do we know the answer to this yet?
I found it much better when they were marked. Now I see titles that are familiar as I scroll through 'unread' but can't remember if I just looked at them previously or actually posted anything, so end up looking again or keeping on flitting to 'replies' unnecessarily ( well, was unnecessary on old system!)

It's on my list of things to put on here - "participation icons" - things that show we've either started a topic or been a part of them.

There's oodles of other things in the way first though - but I'm getting through them bit by bit. :)

Trystan - if you're around, we seem to have lost the cookie message again - I know we didn't have initially in the new format, then it re-appeared, but the last few days it has gone again. As I have my settings to clear cookies I should see it if it was there.

I am also struggling with unread posts. Don't think I will ever have enough time to get through them all. I find I am now cherry picking with posts I Think might be of interest. However I am concerned at what I might be missing. Also posts which I believe I have read are still showing. Or perhaps it is a case of Deja Vu

The brackets around (unread posts) and (new replies) is a good tweak :-)

Just curious about one reply notification, not sure it happened this way previously  :-\ ... Moderator linked a topic of same name by same poster on another board to the the earlier one I had responded to but not vice versa, so I got a reply but no addition to the thread at all. I did fathom out what happened as I'd already seen the other thread, though it would have been a total mystery re empty reply if I hadn't ...

It's not just brackets, after the update it just showed unread   replies, so to begin with it looked as if it was one subject unread replies.  Most people got used to it meaning two subjects, but now Trystan has made it even clearer. :)
