Transcripts for records of the Church of Ireland, St. Mary's, which is part of the parish union of Bunclody / (Newtownbarry) are available on the  RCBL website -see :  http://ireland.anglican.org/about/151

I dont think the Wesleyan faith used a parish system.

The Civil parishes adjoining St. Mary's Newtownbarry, and therefore the likely Church of Ireland parishes, include : Ballycarney, Barragh (Carlow), Kilrush, Monart and Templeshanbo.

....
Noticed thru researching swaine/swayne..there were  swaine/swayne families in Ballycarney , scarrawalsh etc...Is that near newtownbarry??
.....

Ballycarney is the name of an adjacent civil parish, and probably also a townland in the same parish.  Scarawalsh is a townland in Ballcarney parish.

The records on the RCBL website are Church of Ireland, so may not include anything for your Swaine's if they were Wesleyan.

Thanks Shane
This maybe another Clue re Them..On Anna Cecelia Swaynes Marriage it stated that her father was john Swayne , deceased and his trade was a merchant...she married in 1863
Would John Swayne, be listed on griffiths valuation, or merchant records anywhere in wexford
Thanks

A merchant would likely hold property of some sort so should appear on Griffth's ....... assuming he was still alive at the time of the valuation in the area - i.e. 1853.

I dont see any Swaine/Swaynes on Griffith's in St. Mary's civil parish... but there are a number in the same barony - i.e. Scarawalsh, including two listings for a John Swayne's (possibly the same John with two properties) in Scarawalsh townland..

see : Swa*, Scarawalsh barony, Griffith's valuation
