Cargill probably wouldn't have recorded these as they are after 1855.  Borders FHS are planning to record Chirnside this year so we will look out for Robert and Isabella.

Hello Norma,

There are some MIs that have after 1855 dates on them. I'll note the Ferguson ones that there are as they may be of use. If not, no harm done!

John S Ferguson, tailor, died 13/11/1890 age 80 years
Wife, Mary Darrie, died 3/08/1884, age 70 years
Their children are named too. Let me know if they are of interest.

There's one other Ferguson MI pre 1855. Let me know if you would like the information.

Mags

Hi Mags,

Thanks for that but they are not mine. These two moved in with their son John Donaldson Ferguson born 1867 at Coldstream and wife Jane Forsyth born 1865 in their old age  .My line stayed at Coldstream.

If this is still available, I would appreciate any look-ups of Edington or McKenzie/MacKenzie.

Thank you so much

Scott

Sorry - I missed these.  That is excellent.  I was looking for Thomas Edington born 1766 and his wife Catherine Napier.  I was also looking for Alexander McKenzie 1763 to about 1823 (this is from the marriage record of his daughter Christian to James Veitch).  I would appreciate any help I can get.  So far I am only able to get back to about 1763.  Alexander married Christian Know about 1783 or so.
